Orthopedic Physical Therapy

This branch of physical therapy focuses on the problems with respect to the musculoskeletal system (muscles, bones, ligaments or tendons). Physical therapists evaluate, diagnose, treat and manage injuries and diseases that affect the joints and muscles of all types of populations.   The primary goal of the orthopedic physical therapist is to help the patient prevent having surgery due to injury and if surgery is required, assist in rapid and high quality rehabilitation.
